Be assured this immensely human novel, with its fabulous dialogue and humor may be about exploitation, but it’s not exploitative. It’s a colorful protest book about the social problem of molestation and its effect on the victims and perpetrators, this big spacious novel with a pip of a priest, a compelling plot, and vivid characters, deserves to be a major streaming long-form television series.
